<p>In double leg lifts, just lie down with your hands under your butt and the palms should be facing the floor. Contract the lower abs and tighten the legs muscle. Take deep breathes and contract the lower abs. Slowly lift up right leg to 90 degrees and slowly return it down. Alternately do it with the left leg. You can repeat it up to 8 times. And in double leg reverse crunches, lie down with your hands under the butt. Lift both legs in a vertical poistion and then bend your knees to make the lower part paralleled to the floor. Contract lower abs while knees are bent. You can keep your abs contracted by holding in that position for seconds. Lower legs until feet are inches from the floor then move it up again. Just repeat the upward and downward positioning. You can repeat it up to 5 times.</p>

1 – Legs on air vertically while lying back on the floor with your face looking upward. Look for a comfortable place and lie down. Position your legs upward with both your hands under your buttocks. In slow motion raise your legs up on air and slowly bring both legs downward till they almost touch the floor. Let your legs stand on air just a few inches above the ground for a second or two. Then bring back both legs on their original position up on air, vertically. While doing this, press your abs in to feel the contractions in the midsection.</p>
<p>2- Leg walk alternately while lying back on the floor. Stay lying back on the floor and with both legs up on air and with your hands under your buttocks. Bring one leg slowly down almost touching the ground and slowly bring it back to its original position while the other leg slowly moves down, almost touching the ground. Alternate the moving of legs downward just a few inches above the ground. Press your stomach while doing this exercise so contractions in the stomach will be felt. Do this a number of repetitions.</p>
<p>3- Bending knees on air while lying back on the floor with your hands under you buttocks. Lie down and have both legs vertically up on air. Then bring your knees to bend at 90 degrees position. And feel the contraction in your midsection. Then slowly bring back both legs to their original upright position. Repeat the bending of knees to a 90-degree position and slowly move them towards to your chest until you feel the contraction in your stomach. Stay in that position for a second and repeat the routine all over again 10 times the most.</p>

<p>To do this workout, lie on a flat surface with your legs straightened. Then, slowly lift your shoulders and try to touch the toes of your legs with your hands. It will be difficult to do this all of a sudden. Start trying to reach your knees and gradually after sometime you should be able to touch your toes .Try to stay in that position for a couple of seconds.</p>
<p>Once done with the above exercise, try to touch your toes alternatively. Lie in the same position and try to touch your right toe with your left hand. Come back to the original position. Then, try doing it with the other hand and toe. Repeat this for several times. The counts will increase only after practice.</p>
<p>INCLINED LEG WALKS LYING DOWN:</p>
<p>Rest yourself on a flat surface and incline your back a bit by placing your hands under your back. Lift your legs and make them stand vertically. Lower one of your legs but let it stand a few inches off from the ground. Once you feel the tension building up in your lower abs sustain it for a few seconds. Then, do the vice versa with the other leg.</p>
<p>LIFTING LEGS WORKOUTS:</p>
<p>Lay on your back with hands beneath your back. Lift your legs and bend them so that they are almost at a right angles.Then, slowly lower down your knees and make your legs vertical, but don&#8217;t land your feet on ground to have the tension build up in your abs</p>

<p>For Alternating Leg Walks, lower one leg until your foot is a few inches off the ground. Hold on for a few seconds and return that leg to the start position (vertical). Switch the leg you lower.</p>

<p><strong>Scissors</strong></p>
<p>To start this workout you need to lie on your back with your hands under your buttocks. Tighten both your lower abs and leg muscles, lifting your legs to about two feet off of the floor. Do not bend your knees and cross your right leg over your left leg. Open your legs back and cross your left leg over the right one. This is the scissor action. Repeat this 8 to 10 times, eventually building up to 15 times as your strength permits.</p>
<p><strong>Double Leg Circles</strong></p>
<p>Lie on your back with your hands under your buttocks. Lift both legs a few inches off the floor, rotating them in circles. Complete five circles in a clockwise direction and lower your legs to the floor for a few seconds. Raise your legs again and do five circles in an anti-clockwise direction. With time, increase up to 10 to 15 circles.</p>

<p><strong>1. </strong><strong>Reverse Crunches/Lower Abs Crunches<small><a title="Bob B. Brown" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/14363418@N00/4693358818/" target="_blank"></a></small></strong></p>
<p>It’s a basic lower abs exercise and one that really works the abdominals.</p>
<p>To perform the reverse crunch, lie flat on a workbench or on the floor with your hands at your side. Raise your feet off the floor, bringing your knees towards your chest. Raise your pelvis off the ground as you bend your spine towards your head. Hold on for about one second and then lower your legs back into the starting position with thighs perpendicular to the floor.</p>
<p>Your main focus when performing this abs workout is to lift your pelvis off the floor. Your abdominal muscles are fastened to your pelvis and when your pelvis moves your abs muscles work more.</p>
<p><strong>2. </strong><strong>Pelvic Tilt</strong></p>
<p>To do the pelvic tilt, you lie on your back with your feet flat on the floor, hip width apart. Your head and neck must be relaxed. Gradually tighten your lower abdominal muscles while pulling your belly button towards your spine. While flattening your back into the floor, roll your pelvis towards your shoulders. Hold on for about three seconds before slowly returning to the start position. You could repeat this exercise 5 to 15 times.</p>
<p>Your main focus here is for the front edge of your pelvis to tilt towards your shoulders. Your tailbone should come slightly off the floor. Breathe out as you tilt, breathe in while returning to the starting position.</p>
<p><strong>3. </strong><strong>Hanging Leg/Knee Raises</strong></p>
<p>Lie on you back with your hands by your side, your knees bent. Your lower back should be pressed into the floor and your feet flat on the floor. Your head and neck should be relaxed. While keeping your abs tight, slowly bring your left knee up and into your chest. Bring it in as far as you can go and hold it there for two to three seconds then return to the starting position. Repeat the process with your right knee. Consider doing this whole process 10 to 15 times and remember to exhale each time you bring your knee up.</p>
<p>Remember, it is important for your overall lower back health to train and exercise your body in many different directions.</p>
